We have been working very hard on creating a good hook and finishing our story with an equally awesome conclusion. We used the story, The Mysteries of Harris Burdick to practice our inference skills and organization in our writing. Check out our marvelous hooks and out of this world concluding sentences! I will post a new paragraph each day! Be sure to look back and check out our blog on a regular basis! All pictures come from:
The Floating Chair
I remember the time I saw the
floating chair. I was walking in the house, when I heard the screams. I looked
around, and saw no one. I looked up and saw a chair… a floating chair. “Help
me!” screamed a woman. I wondered how she got up there. Peculiar, so peculiar.
What is going on? I screamed for help, and then a miracle happened. The chair
came down! The woman stepped off, and the chair disappeared! All of my life, no
day has been crazier than that one. The floating chair will remain a mystery
forever.
