Blendspace Point of View

When we get back from these snow days, we will continue our discussion on point of view.  I have created a board on Blendspace (if you have never checked it out before, do so, it is AWESOME!) Students will be picking an image found on our board and create a powerpoint presentation containing the points of view of the various people/animals in the pictures. I will definitely post our final projects!

Literature Circle Book Recommendations

At the end of last quarter, we were busy working on our powerpoint presentations that revolved around our last literature circle novel.  Students also completed a book recommendation that we recorded on the ipads and inserted into our powepoints.  I am listing the links to these videos on youtube.  They are private on my account, so the only way you can see them is if you have the link. I will be posting these throughout the week. We have some very persuasive students! I hope they persuade you to read one of these fantasy books!

Just Desert...She lowered knife and it grew even brighter...

As the pumpkin started to glow, she had no idea what was going on. Maybe it was a jack’ o ’lantern. The pumpkin might be possessed. The dark didn’t scare her. The pumpkin did. She wanted to run, but she couldn’t.  As the pumpkin grew brighter and brighter, she fainted dead away.
