Health Presentation
Drs. Michael and Farah Snyder presented us with useful information about the health of our bodies. We talked about how to make good personal choices, body development, exercise, and diet. Thank you both for coming and teaching us about body health!
Think Pink!
On February 25, we wore pink to show our support against bullying.
For a group activity, I randomly picked for students to write a poem from the point of view of the bully, the bystander, and the bullied. These turned out to be very powerful. If you have chance, please stop by and read these poems! They are located on the way to the cafeteria.

Research and Blendspace
We have been learning about research writing and nonfiction text structures. We are combining those two objectives for our next project. We have started our research over our chosen biography. We are keeping all of our data and research on our blendspace site. Blendspace is a great site to use for keeping all of your information in on spot. Ask your student to see their blendspace site!
Mixtures and Solutions Investigation
We have been working on learning the basic vocabulary of matter this week. After we learned about matter, mass, volume, etc...we moved on to mixtures and solutions. We did a great job on discovering what is a mixture and what is a solution. We used three types of matter; gravel, a powder, and salt to see what would happen when a solid was mixed with a liquid.
